There is a tremendous difference between shooting methods that work well when you're simply trying to put holes in a target and those that work well when the target is trying to put holes in you. Point shooting has proven to be the most practical, easily learned and retainable technique for aiming and shooting a handgun in stressful, life-threatening situations.

Most people can shoot a handgun as all that is required is the pressing of the trigger. However, not all can score well much less hit the intended target under adverse conditions. Belson Group trains it's seminar and course participants to accurately and effectively engage hostile threats and thus increase his or her chances of survival should a real life threatening attack occur.

The FOP Lodge is closed effective February 28, 2007. We have permission to use the lodge facility for class room work only. After the classroom work we have an alternate place(s) to conduct the live fire portion of the program. This will as usual qualify for CWP submission. The new Range that we are buying through my corporation Gary W. Belson Associates, Inc. (The Belson Group) is underway. You will be able to become a range club member after completion of the Basic with Defensive Tactics Course. Those of you that are/were active or inactive FOP Lodge Range Club members will need nothing more then a brief on-site orientation and the range facility is yours for $100.00 per year.
